Branches:
It has two major and overlapping branches:
1.Aeronautical Engineering
2.Astronautical Engineering
Aeronautical Engineering was the original term for the field.As the flight technology advanced to include vehicles operating in outer space,the broader term "Aerospace Engineering" has come into common use ,Aerospace Engineering particularly the Astronautics branch ,is often colloquially referred to as Rocket Science
Scope:
Aerospace Engineering is high in Pakistan.As only fewer universities offer this course ,the man power is limited so the demand is high.With the advent of space technology in Pakistan and PAF looking for better domestic fighter jets ,the scope of Aerospace is increasing and its demands is getting higher.
Aerospace Engineering Education:
4 years Education degree is offered in Aerospace Engineering in Pakistan.
Eligibility criteria of Aerospace Engineering:
.Minimum 60% marks in matric.
.Minimum 60% marks in FSC Pre-Engineering or Equivalent.
.Entry Test.
Job Market:

How to become Aerospace Engineer:
There are five options to become an Aeronautical Engineer.
1.Join PAF Aeronautical Engineering course after Inter.
2.BSC Eng/BE Degree in Aerospace.
3.BSC Eng/BE in mechanical Engineering or Related fields.
4.B.Tech or Diploma in Aircraft maintenance Engineering or Aviation Technology.
Related Fields of Aerospace Engineering:
BSC Aeronautical Engineering is not only the choice to become Aeronautical Engineer.But you can also take the following options:
.Mechanical Engineering
.Manufacturing Engineering
.Mechatronics Engineering
.Industrial Engineering
.Aerospace Engineering
.Some universities also accept Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering degree holders for MS in Aeronautical Engineering.
